Dalda Foods goes Open Source
March 9, 2008. Emergen Consulting deploys Asterisk at Dalda Foods integrated with their call center, the Dalda Advisory Service. Dalda Foods replaced their old PABX completely for a much more reliable IP based PBX. Emergen has deployed a hybrid PBX consisting of both analog and digital interfaces. Emergen has used Digium Digital and Analog telephony cards for PSTN termination and Grandstream gateways and IP phones.
NADRA uses Asterisk
October 5, 2007. Emergen Consulting has deployed the open source Asterisk PBX and a renowned open source call center application called ViciDial at all countrywide locations of the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA). Emergen has integrated Asterisk with NADRA's existing Nortel IP PBX to provide them with infinite expandability options. Emergen has also provided NADRA comprehensive in-depth training of how the solution works which includes both Asterisk and ViciDial.
